Turns out I had booked the wrong date somehow. But it didn’t matter. We were invited into their home, got to meet the dog’s, were made a pot of tea and they fit us in and got the little barn ready for us. Truly above and beyond. The little barn itself is amazing! Perfect mixture of modern and cozy. We didn’t even leave. I would 100% return, perhaps when the weather is a bit better so we can explore a little.

We had a great stay. The cottage was very clean and comfy. It was the perfect place to stay after visiting the town and different places during the whole day. We had a fantastic break in the cottage. Moreover, the location is great and the neighborhood is very quiet. IT was very easy to park the car. If we visit Bury St. Edmunds in the future, we will book this accommodation again.

Good-value en suite rooms and tasty food are available at The White Horse. The hotel dates back to the 17th century and is located on the A140 near Eye. Everything went well - I was greeted warmly and I was shown to my accommodation which was nice and cosy with many modern appliances. I was served at the bar by a chap called Peter who was very helpful with the choices of drinks. Later that evening I was joined by my Sister and Brother in law. I slept well and its the first hotel in a number of stays this year where I had biscuits with the Tea! Breakfast was again really good value and very nice, the waitress was very attentive and I cannot fault any part of my stay.
