The location is perfect for local walks, from a short ride from Keswick even by bus. The room was very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. The hotel restaurant is just a delight, the food is absolutely delicious and the breakfast is also top notch. The staff is very friendly and very good in making you feel welcomed and taken care off. I would definitely come back and would definitely recommend it.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Cumberland House features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. Everything was great, the place is in a beautiful town and it was perfect for having a laugh with friends after a nice hike

Great location - really clean, really nicely done and very homely. Claire was brilliant and kept checking in to make sure everything was perfect.

Situated in Grizebeck and only 30 km from World of Beatrix Potter, 2 Malt Kiln Cottages features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The flat was very spacious and had a nice view of an old cottage across the road. Everything was clean with nice modern fixtures and appliances. Although the flat is right on the roadway, we had no road noise. Having off-street parking was a plus. We also liked having two full bathrooms. The kitchen had everything one would need for a short or long stay with a large refrigerator.

Located 18 km from Buttermere, 1 The Croft provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Cockermouth is a beatifull and quite town. the apartment have a gorgeous view beside the river.

Tranquility No 42 Port Haverigg Marina, a property with a garden and a bar, is located in Millom, 42 km from Lake Windermere, 43 km from Wasdale, as well as 49 km from Scafell Pike. Loved the views and the accommodation was really comfortable with everything you needed for a few days. Bed very comfortable. Ski Bar on site had good meals and lots of drinks choices and the staff were very accommodating. Very dog friendly. Try Riva Gelato just over on the campsite which has lovely ice creams to choose from. Easy to get to lots of different places from where we were. We were unfortunate enough to encounter almost a full day of heavy rain but the accommodation has a good TV with lots of channel choices so we were able to keep entertained when we couldn't get out. Communication with the owners was excellent. We will be visiting again.
