It is indeed an old cottage and our room looked out over the loch. The accommodations are outstanding with a well appointed bedroom and bathroom. The bed was so comfortable! There is a communal sitting room with tons of information about Scotland. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming and are very knowledgeable about Scottish history and area sights. Breakfast is served in a bright dining room overlooking the water with bird feeders attracting local birds to the garden outside. Breakfast choices were extensive and made to order. You are out in the countryside, so I recommend you have a car and the cottage does have free parking. This is the perfect way point in your travels through Scotland.

Melfort Village ligger ved en sø, 24 km fra Oban. Furnace ligger 23 km derfra. Ferieboligerne har spise-/opholdsområde med fladskærms-tv med satellitkanaler. This place is simply amazing! The staff were so friendly and eager to help us. We only stayed for a short time and truly regret not being able to extend our visit. The kids can’t stop talking about the house and how much they want to come back! The place was spotless, very comfortable, and of a truly high standard. We are definitely planning to return!

Det luksuriøse Bonawe House Holiday Cottages ligger omkring 13 km fra Oban og tilbyder indkvartering i lejligheder og hytter i det skotske højland. This accommodation was spectacularly beautiful and well priced. The rooms in the suite upstairs were beautifully decorated with gorgeous furnishings, including an actual Narnia wardrobe!! However for me, the views from every window were hands down the most outstanding part, they were simply breathtaking to say the least!!! The grounds were also incredible which included access to walking trail and a picturesque playground with rope swings and balancing rope; it felt like a woodland circus course. In our 3 weeks of UK holiday this was without doubt my favorite place to stay!!! I will definitely return on my next trip and stay for longer than 2 days.
