Set on the Bay of Biscay and surrounded by mountains, the Higueralde guest house is located 15-minutes’ walk from the beach. It offers rooms with central heating and free Wi-Fi. It was a beautiful part of town with a beautiful view and fantastic breakfast! Everyone was very kind and helpful!

It was located on my GR 38 route few kilometres before Gernika. I decided to spend the night rather in the countryside than town. La casa completely met my expectations. Had a very nice and spacious room in this casa rural. There is large eating area in the ground floor plus full-fitted kitchen upstairs. You can buy food and drinks from their fridge. Prices are reasonable. For example Ramón Bilbao Crianza bottle 180 ml was for 3 EUR. I used washing machine for 10, has program for outdoor clothes. I orded supplementary breakfast and even though I was the only guest (out-of-season), it was extraordinary. Freshly squeezed orange juice, 3 types of bread, charcuterie, cheeses, boiled eggs, cereals. The only thing I regretted was that I had to go early to complete my route. Would love to come back with family for more days.

I really liked the house and the sorrunding. It is really peaceful and charming. The owners are genuine and kind and they gave us many tips and explanations about the Basque country. We really enjoyed the stay.

Objekt El Retiro del Obispo smješten je u gradu 'Laguardia', na 48 km od znamenitosti Fernando Buesa Arena i 17 km od znamenitosti Spanish Federation of Friends of the Camino de Santiago Associations... Lovely little boutique hotel right in the centre of town. It was very handy being so close to the main square. Checking in and out was very easy. Would recommend it wholeheartedly.

The owners were friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and large. It had a comfortable bed and a large shower room. WIFI worked very well. There was parking in the premises. Breakfast was amazing and plentiful with fresh squeezed orange juice, coffee, delicious eggs, cheeses, bread and more… The nearest town, Urnieta, is located at 5 minutes by car where there are restaurants, supermarkets, cafes, etc. We definitely will return whenever we visit the area.

Second time in Casa Robla - couldn't be better. The location is just 5 minutes from La Guardia, a perfect starting point for exploring Rioja wineries. The interior design of the hotel is gorgeous, and everything was spot-on. Cristina is an amazing host, offering great recommendations for the area and showing super care and thoughtfulness towards our experience. Make sure to hit the cool wine cellar downstairs and sip one of the wines from Cristina's winery - a perfect finish for the day. Will definitely come back 😄

Casa rural Lastoetxe sadrži smještaj u gradu 'Larrauri' s besplatnim WiFi-jem i pogledom na planinu, kao i vrt, zajednički salon i terasu. Andoni and Ana were super friendly and welcoming hosts. It was a pleasure to chat with them and spend some time together. They were also helpful and available when booking at the last minute for our 2nd stay. The house is beautiful, rooms are clean and very large and the kitchen/living room area is fully equipped. All in all it was a very pleasant stay for us and also our cat appreciated it a lot, as he was able to explore the whole area, run and make new friends. It will remain a pleasant memory.
