Featuring a garden and views of mountain, AISTA Landetxea is a recently renovated country house set in Campanchu, 34 km from Catedral de Santiago. This may have been the cleanest place I’ve ever been. Host was great. It is out of town and I am walking the Camino - but there is everything you need to make a simple dinner. And you can avoid the business of the city. Highly recommend!

Featuring a garden and views of mountain, Chavarri Etxea, casa indiana XBI00149 is a country house situated in a historic building in Biáñez, 43 km from Vizcaya Bridge. This is a stunning property in a very beautiful area. Our room was a two bedroom, two bathroom unit that was very comfortable. My five-year-old enjoyed the swing set and level lawn to play ball. I would definitely stay here again and hope to return for a longer period.

Featuring a spa bath, Soloandie Casa rural is located in Zeanuri. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Guests can use the hot tub, or enjoy mountain views. Amazing hospitality, comfortable and very stylish room, great breakfast and inspiring views to the mountains. Staff was very kind and made us feel like home.

Set 48 km from Fernando Buesa Arena, El Retiro del Obispo in Laguardia offers rooms with air conditioning and free WiFi. The hosts, Terri and Robert, were fantastic. We asked for their advice on things to do and they set us up for a great 3 night stay with wineries and meals to die for. The newly renovated space has old world charm with all of the modern conveniences. I can’t imagine a better place to stay in Laguardia.

Bidegurutzeta landetxea, a property with a garden, is located in Urnieta, 10 km from La Concha Promenade, 10 km from Peine del Viento Sculptures, as well as 11 km from Monte Igueldo. The owners were friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and large. It had a comfortable bed and a large shower room. WIFI worked very well. There was parking in the premises. Breakfast was amazing and plentiful with fresh squeezed orange juice, coffee, delicious eggs, cheeses, bread and more… The nearest town, Urnieta, is located at 5 minutes by car where there are restaurants, supermarkets, cafes, etc. We definitely will return whenever we visit the area.

Offering quiet street views, Casa ROBLA is an accommodation situated in Elvillar, 17 km from Spanish Federation of Friends of the Camino de Santiago Associations and 17 km from La Rioja Museum. Second time in Casa Robla - couldn't be better. The location is just 5 minutes from La Guardia, a perfect starting point for exploring Rioja wineries. The interior design of the hotel is gorgeous, and everything was spot-on. Cristina is an amazing host, offering great recommendations for the area and showing super care and thoughtfulness towards our experience. Make sure to hit the cool wine cellar downstairs and sip one of the wines from Cristina's winery - a perfect finish for the day. Will definitely come back 😄

Boasting mountain views, Casa rural Lastoetxe offers accommodation with a garden and a terrace, around 21 km from Catedral de Santiago. Andoni and Ana were super friendly and welcoming hosts. It was a pleasure to chat with them and spend some time together. They were also helpful and available when booking at the last minute for our 2nd stay. The house is beautiful, rooms are clean and very large and the kitchen/living room area is fully equipped. All in all it was a very pleasant stay for us and also our cat appreciated it a lot, as he was able to explore the whole area, run and make new friends. It will remain a pleasant memory.

Boasting sea views, El Tejado de Santa Ana provides accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden and barbecue facilities, around 2.2 km from Playa de Meñakoz Barrika. The breakfast was amazing. The room was lovely, the property is immaculate and beautiful. It has been my favorite stay in en País Vasco.

Set within 15 km of Catedral de Santiago and 15 km of Arriaga Theatre in Mungia, Basoan offers accommodation with seating area. It s just an amazing overall experience.
