The views are absolutely stunning and you get them even from your room. Great hosts who are very open and welcoming. And the breakfast - very delicious, home made on the spot for you. A true gem to stay at!

Featuring a garden and views of mountain, AISTA Landetxea is a recently renovated country house set in Campanchu, 34 km from Catedral de Santiago. It was located on my GR 38 route few kilometres before Gernika. I decided to spend the night rather in the countryside than town. La casa completely met my expectations. Had a very nice and spacious room in this casa rural. There is large eating area in the ground floor plus full-fitted kitchen upstairs. You can buy food and drinks from their fridge. Prices are reasonable. For example Ramón Bilbao Crianza bottle 180 ml was for 3 EUR. I used washing machine for 10, has program for outdoor clothes. I orded supplementary breakfast and even though I was the only guest (out-of-season), it was extraordinary. Freshly squeezed orange juice, 3 types of bread, charcuterie, cheeses, boiled eggs, cereals. The only thing I regretted was that I had to go early to complete my route. Would love to come back with family for more days.

Featuring a garden and views of mountain, Chavarri Etxea, casa indiana XBI00149 is a country house situated in a historic building in Biáñez, 43 km from Vizcaya Bridge. I really liked the house and the sorrunding. It is really peaceful and charming. The owners are genuine and kind and they gave us many tips and explanations about the Basque country. We really enjoyed the stay.

El Retiro del Obispo asub Fernando Buesa Arenast 48 km kaugusel. Majutusruumides on konditsioneer, rõdu ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Lovely little boutique hotel right in the centre of town. It was very handy being so close to the main square. Checking in and out was very easy. Would recommend it wholeheartedly.

Casa ROBLA asub Elvillaris, 17 km kaugusel Hispaania Camino de Santiago ühenduste sõprade Föderatsioonist ja La Rioja muuseumist. Tubades on konditsioneer ja privaatne vannituba. Absolutely fantastic host. So kind. And such a beautiful place! Beds are super comfy and the bath room really great. Generous breakfast, which wasn't charged for the kids! We were very sad we could only stay one day there.

Aia ja terrassiga Casa Rural Lastoetxe pakub mäevaatega majutust umbes 21 km kaugusel Artxanda köisraudteest. Santiago katedraal jääb 22 km kaugusele. Kohapeal on ühisköök. The owners were welcoming and helpful. This place has a kitchen where we were able to cook and eat our own meals in a comfortable seating area. The whole place appeared to be new with good facilities, bed was good to sleep in, shower was high powered and towels and shampoo were provided. The whole experience was even better that we hoped for when booking.

Aia, grillimisvõimaluse ja mäevaatega El Tejado de Santa Ana asub Barrikas, 1,7 km kaugusel Barrikako rannast. Maamajal on tasuta eraparkla ja ühisköök. The breakfast was amazing. The room was lovely, the property is immaculate and beautiful. It has been my favorite stay in en País Vasco.

Aia ja tasuta WiFi-ühendusega Basoan asub Mungias, 11 km kaugusel Bilbaost. It's a very quiet location, and only about 15 minutes into downtown Bilbao. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting Patricia, who has a variety of jobs at Basoan. She's very engaging and intelligent. She keeps the apartments very clean, and makes a delicious breakfast for you.
