Veselka is located in Dolní Bousov, 39 km from Castle Bezděz, 45 km from Train Station, as well as 48 km from Aquapark Staré Splavy. The house is located right on the edge of a forest. There’s complete silence — filled only with birdsong and the sounds of the wild forest at night. And yet, we felt a deep sense of peace and safety. We had no hesitation letting our four-year-old play around the house and wander with us along the forest stream. The house itself is spacious, cozy, and safe, with everything you might need — plus lots of toys for children and games for adults. You can choose to heat it with the wood-burning stove or electric heaters. The underfloor heating on a cold day was just fantastic! We truly enjoyed every single day in this home. Although it feels like a peaceful, remote getaway in nature, a large shopping center is just a 15-minute drive away — so you’re never too far from anything you might need. Just a note: you do need a car to get there. And there’s very little reception — the Wi-Fi is quite weak, and mobile signal comes and goes. This wasn’t a downside for us at all, but it’s good to be aware of it.

Simply perfect!

Set in Žďárek, Chaloupka u Kaštánků is a recently renovated accommodation, 27 km from Ještěd and 44 km from University of Applied Sciences Zittau/Goerlitz. It was an amazing trip. The house was already warm when we arrived, and we were pleasantly surprised to find wine and beer waiting for us in the fridge. The house is fully equipped: a ready-to-use coffee machine, a dishwasher with capsules, and a washing machine — everything needed for a comfortable stay. There is a large bathtub and a separate toilet, which adds to the overall comfort. The house is spacious and well laid out. On the ground floor there is a kitchen and dining area with an excellent fireplace; firewood for both the fireplace and the grill was prepared in advance. The bedrooms are located on the upper floor, which makes the space cozy and well organized. There is also a garage available for the car. Overall, the house is very comfortable, spacious, and perfect for a relaxing stay.
