From the hospitality of the local hosts (Sevilha & Noa) to the kindness of its staff (Gilda & co.), the interior and outer parts of the villa, location, neighborhood, breakfast… We can’t thank enough Casa Wahnon for being the place we proudly called “home” during our week in Santo Antao. Set in Porto Novo in the Santo Antao region, Vila Babosa has a garden. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The pool features a fence and sea views.... We were met by Lieve at the Ferry Terminal, she arranged a rental car and guided us to the villa (10 minutes from the Ferry Terminal). Lieve and Geert went out of there way to make our stay as comfortable as possibe. The Villa has been built by them with an eye for detail. The villa is very spacious, 3 spacious bedrooms, each with a toilet/bath room, in two of these rooms next to the double beds bunkbeds for two kids. In living room an additional seperate toilet on top. Also a spacious kitchen with everything you need. The swimming pool is covered every evening so it stays warm (28 Celsius). Very important in winter months, we were at some other places where swimming was only for the brave (24 C) or even unbarable (20 C).

Situated in Ribeira Grande in the Santo Antao region, Pousada Dragoeiro Monte Joana Santo Antão has a garden. Guests can benefit from a balcony and a sun terrace. If you like adventure, if you like to escape "modern civilisation" please come to this place. It's situated in the middle of a wonderfull blessed place. People are friendly and kind. You can walk along plenty of wonderfull paths around the area. Blessed place!!

The apartment features two good-sized bedrooms, a spacious living and dining area, large bathroom, plus a well-stocked kitchen. The ample sunlight and cooling ventilation makes it comfortable all day long. The setting is tranquil and pleasant within a fertile garden in the spectacular valley above Ribeira Grande, very close to town. You can walk to local markets, eateries, and stores in 10 minutes. The staff is very helpful and friendly, ready to assist with any matter and offer produce from the garden. This is also a great location to do most of the spectacular drives around the island or choose any of the stunning hikes available in the mountains or coastline. We stayed longer than we planned because we loved it so much.

Very nice place, clean, quiet and close to the beach. Good strategic spot for exploring west side of island. I would definitely go back there.

CasaMrichica1 is located in Ribeira Grande. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the holiday home free of charge. Excellent value for money, location and facilities.
