Cosy & Relax Yellow House 5mn walk from the beach! has a terrace and is situated in Calheta Do Maio, within just less than 1 km of Praia de Ponta Preta and a 17-minute walk of Biche Rocha Beach. We have really enjoyed our stay at Isolinda’s apartment. From start to finish we felt like at home. Isolinda has come to pick us at the airport and dropped at off after the stay. The house is located in very quiet neighbourhood and ideal for someone who wants to disconnect and be in the nature. The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you need for cooking. There are 2 terraces to enjoy. The local Ponta Preta beach is very nice and you will be pretty much the only people enjoying it. At the main beach in town you can buy fresh fish daily and then enjoy cooking it or making a barbecue at home. The best part is the host Isolinda who always went out of her way to answer any questions and to give us recommendations. She always answered very quickly and nothing was too much trouble. Maio is a small island and you can visit most of the main points in one day either by hiring a car or doing a tour. It feels like going back in time where the pace of life is much slower. Everything is relaxed and no stress :) People are very nice and friendly, greet you on the street and smile. Overall we would highly recommend Isolinda’s apartment and we undoutebly will be back once traveling back in Maio. Thank you again for your hospitality.

Villa Maris is just a paradise in Maio: great house in a very nice residence area, amazing views topped up with the unique infinity pool…but the best is definitively the treatment and the staff! We felt like home We were sent a taxi to the ferry to bring us to the house and welcomed by Alicia who was in charged of making our stay easy and relaxing: she help us with renting a car, booking massages and with any question we had, specially the last day when our boat was delayed by 12 hours and she took care of us in addition to let us stay in the appartment free of charge and always with a smile :) Loved our stay!
