But the location is unbeatable. Watching the animals from your doorstep is priceless. I would not want to stay anywhere else if I go to Tortuguero.

Fully equipped kitchen though the kitchen is outdoors, might not fit everyone. For us it was great. Barely any mosquitoes even outdoors. Nice place to buy fruits 5 minutes walk and a big organic supermarket less than 10 minutes walk. The beach is very close to the flat, big waves but we built sand castles with our baby so it was fine. It was very relaxing stay in a peaceful environment. They even have a laundry machine and were very responsive to all our requests. Felt very secluded. 10 minutes walk from the Jaguar Rescue Center.

Offering an outdoor pool and water sports facilities, New Caribe Point is located in Cahuita in the Limon Region. Puerto Viejo is 14 km away. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property. We got to stay in the upper unit where we could watch monkeys just a few meters away, the room ia very spacious as is the bathroom, mosquito nets everywhere, breakfast was delicious and the host is very lovely and helpful. 5min to the beach and they also have bicycles for use. Definitely recommend!

We were completely satisfied with your three-week stay. The equipment of the cottage in which we stayed corresponds to the given category and is functional. The owner is very friendly and helpful. But what is absolutely exceptional is the location of the accommodation. The cottage is in a beautiful garden on the border of the town and the Cahuita National Park. This means that in a few minutes you can reach a well-stocked supermarket, restaurants. At the same time, you are a short distance from several beautiful and (in July) almost empty beaches and a tropical rainforest. As a bonus, capuchin and howler monkeys roam around the cottage almost daily, but you can also see agoutis, toucans and hummingbirds there. It's like you are staying in the middle of a zoo.

We had an amazing stay in Tortuguero at Raquel’s property! She was incredibly kind and welcoming — she even picked us up from the Roots office, which was such a nice gesture and made our arrival super easy. We were lucky to be among the first guests, and everything in the house felt brand new, spotless, and thoughtfully prepared. The setup was perfect for our group of 8, as we were able to enjoy both houses while sharing the garden and the patio. The space is ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring Tortuguero, and the attention to detail really made a difference. We recommend this place!
