Our host was so friendly and made us really feel like we were at home! He gave us recommendations on travel, amazing breakfast and snacks, morning tea time. He felt like our Chinese dad and it was such a friendly and welcoming environment!

The unit includes two washing machines and a place to hang clothes to dry. It has both a traditional squat toilet and a western-style toilet. It is on the sixth floor of an elevator building with two elevators. The view is onto the surrounding buildings of the area and the courtyard. As this is in Kunming, Yunnan, it is usually at a comfortable temperature, at least when I stayed throughout the month of August (which was also rainy at times). I was able to arrange transportation to and from Kunming airport with the host of the property, who oriented me at the place and gave me the key fob for the building. All in all, a seamless experience.
