Everything was great. If you want sightseeing at the park and get the best advices how make it quickly, without crowds and best cost price you are welcome this hotel and those guys. We visited two days Avatar park, Glass bridge and Yellow dragon cave with private driver for only 300 usd for 3 persons. The only bad thing is that - due to the close location to the entrance of the park there was nowhere to go out in the evening but if you need to go to some shop or else they kindly provide a free help to take you to the village. The breakfast and dinners were also tasty with reasonable price. So in a word we highly recommend that hotel for visiting the park.

Carol is truly the star of Tongfu Inn. Her service is exceptional — she gives you her full attention, she’s thorough, endlessly kind, and incredibly hardworking. Her parents are just as dedicated, always greeting you with big smiles. I chose Tongfu Inn based on reviews and a personal recommendation. Because I couldn’t find much information about the layout of the national park, I had to trust what others had written — and I have to say, everything about avoiding the crowds is absolutely true. I couldn’t picture it until I experienced it myself. We were genuinely stunned at how fortunate we were, moving in the opposite direction of the masses. We took the Bailong Elevator twice and both times we were the only ones inside while hundreds of people waited in line. Carol explains everything so clearly, sending maps and instructions through WhatsApp. I also needed medication during my stay, and she personally drove me to the pharmacy, explained what I needed, and had everything sorted within minutes. Honestly, don’t hesitate to stay on the West Gate side. The park staff were extremely helpful — not always smiling, but wonderfully direct. Breakfast was delicious as well, and only 15 yuan. It was an absolute pleasure staying here.

Boasting mountain views, Yangjiajie Inn provides accommodation with free bikes, massage services and a shared lounge, around 4.5 km from Yangjiajie Scenic Area. The people were very kind, responsive and caring during my stay. The room was clean and spacious, and had everything I needed. They even drove me to Zhangjiajie National Park each time I went and recommended a route for me to take. The inn offers dinner service as well, which was very convenient and tasty. They made me feel welcome and at home.
