Moondance Boutique Resort er staðsett í Fenglou-þorpinu í Yulong River-hverfinu, 10 km frá West Street. Everything about Moondance Boutique Resort and their sister hotel The Apsara Lodge is WONDERFUL. The environment is so relaxing and peaceful. I stayed here for 7 days on my own in December. It was low season and a little chilly during the days (10°C) but it was so beautiful and restful. The food is excellent. The staff are lovely and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I really feel revived after a very long year at work after my break here and I would highly recommend Moondance to anyone who just needs to rest and be still for a while. There are a number of excursions you can book, but I didn't do any of that that. Just went for a couple of local walks up as far as Yulong River and one day got a taxi into Yangshuo town. The rest of the time I just sat on my balcony or in the restaurant or garden or my room and read a book and listened to the birdsong.

I have been to many countries and this is the best/favourite accommodation I've ever booked for any holiday. The villa rooms were incredible - amazing view, perfect air-conditioning, spacious beyond belief, tastefully aesthetic. The nicer rooms with the river view are east-facing, perfect for watching the sunrise. There is a tea room and open area on the top floor which I used to host local friends, also having a great view of the river. We also managed to catch the dying embers of the sunset. There is a nice common area on the fourth floor with a kitchen, washing machine, fridge, and a large dining table as well. The host is super accommodating and helpful, offering 24-hour support over WeChat. Whenever I reached out for help for accidentally locked doors or to make minor changes to our booking, he always responded quickly.
