We enjoyed the woodstove and BBQ. Comfortable beds and furniture. The kitchen had everything we needed and the selection of games and movies was appreciated. The location with the running water out back felt very remote, while being close to amenities in town.

It was a fantastic stay, hot tub was nice and warm, shower had great water pressure.Very peaceful. Had a little cat come say hello too, very friendly. Will be back again for sure!

Nice view, maybe we'd request for the lower suite next time. It will work better with kids. Also convenient for us because of the kitchen with complete kitchen items.

It’s a wonderful place. The surrounding nature is so beautiful and the view from the big windows of the room is just incredible. The rooms are spacious, clean, nicely furnished. There is everything you need for a short stay - and if not, you have just to contact the owner, Harold. He was so friendly, helpful (he provided us great advice about the places we could see there) and at the same time discrete and polite! There are some canoes, so one can go through the little canal from the Inn into the river, there are balconies to enjoy the view - and one has even a bath, so you can bath on the open balcony watched by the birds! (If it’s not what you want, there is a shower in the normal bathroom, too). There was a beaver who came every day, and wild gooses and herons outside. Very beautiful, well-groomed Inn, with beautiful places nearby to enjoy the Canadian nature.

We had a great stay and are looking forward to staying again. The place only has a kitchenette - but it’s better stocked than many places we’ve stayed with full kitchens so we were still able to cook a nice meal. We also loved the walk along the beach in front of the place.

Very nice updated suite. Very clean and well appointed. Quiet location. Did not see any staff around the resort but off season likely the reason. Facilities well maintained. Highly recommend...great value! Close to Parksville.

The Beach House was a fantastic property. Everything was catered for guests' comfort and convenience. Views were amazing. It was great to have the use of kayaks and canoes, lawn games etc. Beautifully presented property. A credit to the owners 👏 👌 A delightful welcome package from the owner Jen was a delicious surprise🍷🍫🍟🍛 To top it off, a pair of Bald Eagles spent an afternoon chilling in a neighbours tree 😀
