I went to see friends in Worcester - my first trip there.

I went to see friends in Worcester - my first trip there. I was on my own, so found the 10 days too long, as I did not have transport. I was thinking of looking for work there, but not many opportunities for my speciality - aimed more to tourists. People friendly - unfortunately their Tourism Bureau has closed down. Have to be aware of crime, but all over S.A. anyway - lot of poverty. Had a lovely stay all the same.

It was my first time visiting Worcester and i was amazed by the cleanliness of the town even in the townships. The area is safer and most places i visited, i was greeted with great service. The place has lots of places to visit. If you are a wine enthusiast, then you would enjoy some wine tasting places. I also enjoyed coffee shops and town lifestyle.

Beautiful town, very clean, everything you need is there, mall with good stores and the service very friendly. Beautiful Botanical gardens, nice place to visit with small children. Interesting places to visit, The Barn coffee shop, very good breakfast, also workshop of glassblower David Reade, fantastic pieces to see and buy.

Worcester is a good central point for getting onto Route 62...

Worcester is a good central point for getting onto Route 62 which takes you through the Little Karoo, it's on the NI and is not far from Cape Town and is only 2 1/2 hours from the lovely West Coast.

Such a well appointed and beautifully decorated cottage with a great eye for detail to make one's stay most comfortable, for both long or short periods. A lovely courtyard to enjoy a cuppa in the cool of the day. Very comfy beds and the most amazing bean to cup coffee machine. Wish we could have stayed longer. Amazing value for money. The facility was exceptional and was excellent value for money. Secure parking was provided for my vehicle. Will definitely by my nr 1 choice when again spending time in Worcester. I arrived late the first evening and was accommodated accordingly. My plans also changed and I stayed one extra night due to the Hugenote Tunnel closure, which was possible, in the same room.

It is a very neat and spacious living area, 2 separate bedrooms, and a lovely bathroom. Also, a nice gardrn for one to enjoy a cup of coffe in the morning after waking up with a beautiful mountain range backdrop. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to overnight in Worcester.
