I loved the warmth of the locals. Everyone around town always willing to help you with directions or information. I had coffee on Knysna Road and visited a few shops on the street. The town offers peace of mind for a visitor with a lot of activities located outside the town.

Small town for sleepover , very special to this town is the Karoo Angels charity project across the road from the Hotel & and the old red bridge. We only used the facilities at the hotel dinner was quite good and reasonable. Very easy to get around.

We arrived late on a Sunday afternoon so there was not much happening in Willowmore. We went through to the Royal Hotel for dinner as this was the only place open. We sat in the bar which unfortunately allowed smoking. Our meal was very pleasant. My husband had the burger and I had a rump steak. I would love to go back and try out the other restaurants and have a walk around.
