Eugene was such a great host. He spent the evening on the patio with us after fixing us his famous Kudu burgers. The guest room we stayed in was spacious and very cool despite the temps already exceeding 30 degrees. The bed was comfy and we slept really well. Breakfast was again done by Eugene and was excellent. If you come to the Klein Karoo do yourself a favour and stay here even if it’s a bit remote.

We loved this home away from home. The hosts are so friendly and helpful. Our kids enjoyed climbing the mountain and feeding the farm animals and milking the goats. The delightful atmosphere of the farm has made our winter holiday great. Thank you very much!

What a great stay. We loved everything starts from location, nature, peaceful and calm atmosphere, comfort, facilities, cleanliness, surrounded by grape farm. A perfect stopover en route to Cape Town via route 62. The cottage is a quaint historic building with thick walls and was sparkling clean. We had everything we needed for our stay and especially enjoyed the stoep looking onto the garden with a great view of the mountains. Perfect waterwise garden with olive trees and a good enclosed space for our two little dogs to stretch their legs. Our host Jeanette was most helpful too. We can definitely recommend this lovely cottage!
