Our host was very friendly & welcoming. We practically had our own enclosed space & privacy, which was great since our dog also stayed with us. Our unit was very clean, modern & spacious. Nice location since we could walk to the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed the serene environment & felt very safe throughout our stay. We're planning to use this accommodation in the near future, but for a much longer stay.💯👌

    We have stayed for a long weekend in Melkbosstrand and for the past 5 years each January in Strand. The area around Strand and the beach is nice, even though it can get very busy - it is a nice place to stay and lots of things to do.

    The beach was very pleasant and nice for my grandchidren who enjoyed the beach They also enjoyed the waterworld on the beach, There are great shopping malls in Strand and many convenient stores for the odd things you may require. The people in Strand are mostly very friendly and it was a pleasure going around checking out different places

    Beautiful beaches that are clean and safe.

    Beautiful beaches that are clean and safe. There is a lot of space to relax, take part in activities and for children to play. Facilities such as restaurants and cafes are easily accessible and of high quality. Alongside the beach is a wide walkway perfectly maintained. And don't forget the stunning sunsets. Getting around is easy. Uber is fast and offers clean and safe rides.

    Shower panel was out in the room, no towels in our room.

    Shower panel was out in the room, no towels in our room. Water in the shower was not running away quickly in the other room we also booked. Dishes was dirty we had to re wash then. We als had to ask foe dishwasher. Coffee was bad and too little. Lighting was poor during load shedding.

    I was only there for a few hours. so I didn't spend enough time to review the place accurately. It was clean and felt safe. The restaurant Bossa was well situated and had a lovely view. Good service and vibe. Lovely scenery from the beach. Good roads and signboards on the way.

    Low cost and available and reasonable location to other restaurants and facilities at Strand and Gordon's bay. Have fantastic view and sunsets and long board and beach walks. Excellent clean beach cleaned regularly.

    As visiting South Africans Strand was the perfect location for us. Close to the Airport. Close to Cape Town and the Winelands. Also close to visiting friends and still keeping independent. And the beach of course for daily walks. Restaurants were good and also close to shopping facilities.

    For the price that I paid, I did not expect such high quality in the room. Very new with great decor. Also, being at the "back" of the building, I wasn't sure what to expect when I first arrived at the hotel. I was a bit worried it might not be a great place!

    Self catering accommodation usually has only the basics. This apartment has hotel like amenities as well as very good quality cutlery, crockery as well as electrical appliances. The gas stove and kettle was an extra bonus. Thank you for all the extra’s!
