Our stay was great! Great hotel near Kruger Gate, the monkeys jumping around in the trees, rooms totally clean, very tasty buffet, great ambience and very friendly staff. Especially we would like to thank the two managers, Sarah and Garry, who helped us with the car breakdown. We would also like to thank the gate keeper, Phanuel, who alerted us to the flat tire and changed it for us without hesitation. Thank you very much. We stayed here on the way out of the Kruger so we could enjoy the last day in the park entirely. They also have offers for Kruger safaris starting from here but i’d recommend staying inside the park. The place was very close to the park and easy to find. Staff was helpful and welcoming. We had dinner here, simple but appreciated. We stayed in a low season period of time, and we didn’t experience any problem with power outages. Recommended for a night on the road on the way out or into the park.

Loved every single moment. We were treated like royalty. If you want to spoil yourself or someone special in your life you have to book at beautiful Kruger Shalati. The game drives were amazing and the views are out of this world. The food is great and the staff were professional and extremely helpful and friendly. Will definitely book again.

Our guide Tyrone and trackers Mashaba/Forward were amazing. We assume we were very fortunate since we saw the big 5 within 6 hours. We also - thanks to the guide and tracker - had amazing leopard sightings. We had an amazing time and definitely would love to come back. Recommended!! The lodge was super great with facility more than everything we needed, with private pools and bath tub and also day bed outside to see the view. Great location in the middle of Kruger NP. We could see elephant walking in the dry riverbed from our room. The food and drinks were excellent, good quality and great taste. Game drive was super cool and super. Our ranger was very professional, and experienced that we could track to see more animals outside the main roads. All staffs are helpful with great hospitality. It is expensive, yes, but it is worth the money for sure.

What an amazing place, to be able to stay in the middle of Kruger on a river bed, is an absolutely amazing experience! The game drives and bush walk were absolutely amazing and the guides were super knowledgeable and professional (the best safaris we had in all of Kruger). Food was really good as well and all the staff was super friendly and helpful! The glamping adds to the whole experience and then being able to dip in the pool in between game drives is surreal. Needless to say, we didn't want to leave.
