The staff is just amazing! Miriam helped us with everything we needed and went above and beyond for us. And everyone made us feel at home. There is a cool common area with kitchen and living room. The rooms were comfortable. It is highly recommended!

You feel like in the middle of a nature reserve, it’s unbelievably beautiful!!! Stunning views to the mountain range, the lake, the Zebras strolling by the house, the hiking opportunities on the estate - literally in your backyard. We had a wonderful stay and would very much love to stay there again!

Granny Smith Cottage is a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. The host, Erika, was amazingly attentive and even let us come along to help with the cows! The property is very rural, so do expect an interesting drive along the unmade road. Himeville and Underberg (for shopping) are both conveniently nearby.

Stunning home next to the dam. Beautiful setting and there is nobody else anywhere near. Need to spend more than a day there to enjoy all the facilities available - trout fishing, hikes and canoeing.
