This place is an absolute gem – old school charm meets modern amenities in a well-designed fashion. Our room was huge, and very tastefully furnished – heritage wardrobe & dressing table plus freshly renovated & updated shower, tub & ceiling fan. The complimentary glass of local wine was an amazing greeting gesture, and the pool is a treat on hot Robertson days. The entire place is very serene, quiet and peaceful – just the right setting for an escape from e.g. busy city life. A la carte breakfast was a nice touch, the restaurant also has a great dinner menu. The owners & staff are extremely friendly and dedicated to their craft, highly appreciated!

If you are planning to go to Robertson, this is the absolute must-stay location. The Cellar is beautifully designed and comfortably decorated. The rooms are fantastic as well as the en suite bathrooms. The fire-heated hottub is the perfect place to unwind after touring the fantastic wine-estates Robertson has to offer. Braam and his staff are incredibly helpful. If you are lucky enough to get the chance, go visit the restaurant as well!

Robertson is a wonderful place, lots to do.

Robertson is a wonderful place, lots to do. Great wine farms and lovely people. Food is nice as there are many locations for lunch, breakfast and Dinner. We always travel here for the wine farms, so safe to say if you are a fan, you are in the right place!

Beautiful and breathtaking scenery.

Beautiful and breathtaking scenery. The wine farms were a lovely experience as was the Rose Geranium and Lavender Distillery. The Gallery in Robertson was a delight. I would recommend Robertson as a wonderful experience with all my senses stimulated.

The owner Jacques was world class, great hospitality and great communication. The accommodation was spotless and most comfortable. I felt like I was living at home. Will certainly recommend it to everyone and will most definitely be back. Made my life so easy getting the golf course and back.

Always enjoy Robertson and have had a 'relationship' with the town for a number of years whilst attending the 'Wine-on-the-River' event. This time around my son played golf for WP in the annual Triangular tournament against Boland & Southern Cape. I can easily retire in Robertson

Robertson is a gem.

Robertson is a gem. It's such a neat and well cared for little town. It's quiet and relaxing and has so many little hidden gem spots to explore and enjoy. It's perfectly situated to explore the surrounds like Montagu, Ashton, McGregor, etc. Stunning lunch at Van Loveren Incredible breakfast at Four Cousins - fast friendly service with wel made food. The boat cruise at Viljoensdrift is a must.

Wonderful experience. Staff were professional and friendly. From the reception to the cleaning staff. We stayed in Room 10…. Beautiful experience. Good size room overlooking one of the two pools on the property. One could dine at Restaurant or ask for Room service It was a pleasurable three night stay. Thanks for the welcome drink and a good experience to the team at Robertson Small Hotel

A beautiful and secluded haven of tranquility in the peaceful countryside near to Robertson. Our suite was beautifully appointed, (the gossamer light mohair throw offered a cosy snuggle around the wood fired fireplace). We enjoyed a surprisingly superb dinner in the glasshouse like dining room overlooking the gently lit succulent garden. A wonderful find!

My stay here was fantastic and great value for money. The property is very clean and beautiful, with modern decor (absolutely stunning from living areas to bedroom and bathroom ). It is equipped with everything you need for self catering. Egbert was also welcoming and make sure all was well when we checked in. I highly recommend this place.

Stunning location with well equipped cottages. River Bend farm is perfect for a weekend getaway. We really enjoyed the kayaking on the river and the tour of the olive factory. Would definitely recommend!
