Great place to stay, i really enjoyed my time there and extended the stay. This accommodation is actually in a manor house in which the owners do regular movie screenings for the local neighborhood including drinks, dinner, and occasionally a rugby game. Lovely people, the cafe next attached is really good, too. Can only recommend, also for workationing!

Beautiful, modern, spacious rooms, with a lounge and patio with heated jacuzzi. We stayed at the vineyard suites and it was luxury personified. Meals at both Geuwels and Clara’s barn were excellent. What stands out the most for us was the attention to detail, exceptional service and kindness of the those who work at the hotel and restuarant, made hubby’s birthday celebration very special and I am super grateful. Would definitely recommend. Other highlights, walking with the runner ducks, the spa and the lake.

I booked for 3 days to rest after international travel and before a work conference. It was ideal with very comfortable, clean. quiet accommodation. Plenty of space to work and rest. The large pool is great for exercise. There is also a good gym although I didn't use this. The staff and service are excellent and worthy of a 5 star hotel. So friendly and accommodating and should be congratulated. The breakfast is very good with great options. The dinner options are casual but sufficient for a few nights and good wine choices. It is also a good base to explore Stellenbosch and the vineyards. Overall excellent value for money compared with the pricey, local boutique hotels.

Magnificent historical homestead, set amongst the most beautiful gardens and gigantic old oak trees. Blissfully quiet starry nights blessed with the full moon for our stay and sunny days to explore Stellenbosch. So conveniently situated on the R44 for an easy drive to get everywhere. Our bedroom in the Manor House absolutely luxurious and gorgeous. Delicious breakfast every morning and a complimentary wine tasting which we all loved. Have savoured every moment shared with our girls who have stayed in their own rooms in the equally as beautiful Jonkershuis beside us. We highly recommend anyone coming to stay and enjoy Blaauwklippen which is steeped in history and showcases art displayed within their Wine Tasting area.
