We enjoyed the stay as a stop over between Joburg and Kruger. It was quite cold during the night but Hans and Cheryl lit a fire in the apartment and provided heating blankets. That made it comfortable. The area is beautiful and has to be an own trip worth it in summer.

The acra -retreat mountain view lodge is a piece of paradise. So silent, overlooking the beautiful mountains on a spacious terrasse, a beautiful big room, it was the best start of our South Africa trip after a long flight to Johannesburg we could have imagined. The bar has all drinks you can imagine and the dinner and breakfast were very tasty. Norma is such a great host and gave us great advices on what to visit, which streets to take etc.

The serenity of the place,I honestly felt at home,it was quite,but you had help whenever you needed it,the Staff there-Excellent.I honestly loved everything...I'm definitely going back.
