The staff were absolutely fantastic. My parents were staying here and when there was a medical emergency the staff, particularly the two receptionists on duty that evening and the security guard, were super helpful and the manager even personally brought them home from the hospital at around 2am. The staff went above and beyond! Room and facilities were nice and modern. Breakfasts were good. Location relative to main Knysna area is perfect. Many things in walking distance.

This boutique hotel of only 6 rooms is one of the best places I have ever stayed at. The views from the pool and breakfast area are gorgeous. The cinema suite room we had was stunning. The photos don't even do it justice. It has a long balcony where we were able to watch the sunset over the The Heads. The bathroom is massive with a free standing bath overlooking the gorgeous bay. With all these beautiful views it still feel very private and secluded. Lastly there's a large private cinema room with a big smart tv where you can watch a movie. The staff are so lovely...Dora was an angel and even organised a last minute dinner reservation for us. They have clearly listened to previous constructive criticism because a generator kicked in almost immediately at approx 10pm when there was some load shedding. Breakfast was tasty with some good hot options as well.

Everything was nearby, but you need to be there to experiences the wonder of Knysna. It is a must to go visit the Love Gifts store. The Portuguese restaurant food was delicious, but you have to try all the food places there as everything is divine.

I haven't visited Knysna in a long time and sadly I have to...

I haven't visited Knysna in a long time and sadly I have to say that, in the last few years the city has gone to the dogs, it is 3rd world at best. Restaurants, tourist areas and the natural beauty is still awesome, but the city center is dirty, run down and unsafe to walk around in, especially after dark.

Knysna is a beautiful town and a highlight in the Garden...

Knysna is a beautiful town and a highlight in the Garden Route! A must to visit is the waterfront area. We had a fantastic trip on a yacht to the Heads at sunset with Springtide! The restaurants at the Waterfront are the best in town. We loved 34 Degrees South and Drydock Company. A visit to the Heads is a highlight. Knysna is surrounded with beautiful forest and there are plenty walks to choose from.

Knysna is a beautiful town and Holiday Destination. There are alot of attractions within close driving distance to visit i.e. Knysna Elephant Park, Monkey Sanctuary, etc. There are also alot of places to visit and explore in Knysna. We needed more time to explore everything, We will definitely visit Knysna again. Knysna and the surrounds are well taken care of and there was no littter that I can think of. The road going out to the heads is in desperate need of resurfacing. We loved the lookout points and scenery at the Knysna Heads. The Italian restaurant Piza'E Vino at the Heads was fantastic, Blend was also great.

Knysna’s geography is beautiful.

Knysna’s geography is beautiful. It is built alongside and in places in a massive lagoon. There are alot of activities eg walking, scenic drives, boat trips, golf courses etc. The town and its waterfront has a large range of shops and restaurants. Knysna is a must see and visit destination on the Garden Route.

This is not the place if you're expecting hotel standards and convenience. BUT if you want to experience the Knysna forest in a raw and beautiful way, this is definitely the place to be. Amazing walks and places to explore, places to swim and even a warm clay bath under the stars! The TP's are basic, but everything you need. Wood is delivered when needed at a very reasonable price and the staff was extremely helpful and always available. We will definitely be back again, 3 days wasn't enough to experience everything!

The location was fantasic with a large terrace onto the waterfront. The welcome from Faith was exceptional. The parking and security felt very safe and we had an easy walk to Thisen Island. I guess the bedroom and kitchen were slightly tired but very clean with good linens & given the incredible location it was extremely good value for money. We loved the Dry Dock restaurant and 34 South, Knysna Heads, the swimmable beach at Buffalo Bay and East Head Cafe. Leisure Island is beautiful, a very special stay.

Location - situated right next to the knysna heads view point, you can enjoy breakfast while soaking up amazing views of the west head, thesan island and the lagoon. Upgrade - the host was extremely kind and upgraded my booking to the suite. Restaurant- Really good breakfast served daily - they cater for vegetarians as well.

The room had everything you need for self catering. The place was situated just across from the Knysna mall. The waterfront and many restaurants were near the Inn. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed and bathroom were very pleasant. Your car is safe in the parking area. I would definitely go there again.
