The style of the hotel is beautiful. The staff are very friendly and very accommodating. The food at the restaurant was phenomenal for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The beds were very comfortable with great pillows and clean linen. The room was fitted with both A/C and a ceiling fan - this made the hot summer nights very pleasant to sleep. Overall, there is great attention to detail with everything they did! 10/10!

Our trip to South Africa is not easy, but we met kind and warm people. The staff in this hotel were all kind , helpful and enthusiastic. I have to admit the facilities could be better , but the staff would really do their best to make us feel comfortable and would do their best to fix things. It was a rare experience, the hotel is quite old, I bet it was great during its prime. Again, it felt like I was in a movie. We love the retro vibe. Location wise, I would choose a place close to the mall so I can just walk. But if you are familiar with the place , this is fine.

Beautiful property, secure location. Host was fantastic - very friendly and approachable and left us to our own devices. Would have loved to have stayed longer. A really lovely place to stay - relaxing oasis that takes you away from the surrounding area. Nearly forgot where we were once inside the gates!
