The accommodation suited us immensely. The host family could not have been more kind or friendly. The flatlet was serviced every 3 days and there was a regular supply of fresh linen. Our clothes were laundered. Load shedding was frequent, but the hosts were supportive with lighting, heating and gas. We had a lovely little kitchen, a barbecue and a balcony available to us. The beds were warm and comfy. We had access to a garage which was very convenient especially in rainy weather.

The cute quaint little apartment with eveything you need and the special touches of coffee tea and milk on arrival.Its a little gem in fFisherhaven and for the price its surely a must have.Will refer all my friends to this place.Thanks Paul that you went the extra mile to host my friend a little later after not feeling well.This was way beyond our expectation and we really love and appreciate it.

Our brief but delightful stay at Swallows Rest in Fisherhaven was a happy coincidence, as it turned out our friends' abode was practically next door – talk about convenient! The property itself was a real treat, offering ample room for our party of four adults and a very energetic toddler. While our visit was a fleeting one, lasting just a single night, we found ourselves already wishing for a cheeky extension to properly embrace the comfort and space Swallows Rest offered. It's certainly a place we'd wholeheartedly recommend to our nearest and dearest. Now, a little heads-up for fellow digital devotees: Swallows Rest offers a wonderful opportunity to truly switch off, as it's a Wi-Fi and television-free zone. Initially, we thought this might present a slight challenge, but in reality, it gifted us a surprisingly peaceful and relaxing evening. Sometimes, a little unplugging is just what the doctor ordered!

Wonderful hosts and loved the location. A very quaint establishment, enjoyed the open friendly welcome and the whole stay in general was excellent. Thanks to Ria and co for the stay. A must visit is Blue Roof Pub n Grill, lovely people and atmosphere.

Absolutely great experience all round! We are so happy we stayed here after 3 nights in Cape Town it was the perfect R&R spot with beautiful surroundings and peace and quiet to relax, enjoy the views or take a walk along the nearby coastline..very gracious hosts we appreciated all the work they put into every detail and all the tips for our trip were so appreciated...thank you both so much 🙏

As noted the area was quiet loved that we could walk and...

As noted the area was quiet loved that we could walk and every one on that drove past us waved, etc. The accommodation was great. I love the bath. I am not sure if something can be done with us hearing each other as we are very close to each other. Walls does separate I think are too thin, it is like you hear when someone is in the bathroom or room. In the lounge area it is not so.

The location was good as we met with friends at the Boat Club in Fisherhaven for a braai and to watch the rugby game. It was cold over the weekend but the electric blanket on our bed was a winner! The garden is delightful and so is Barbara and Winston, our hosts.
