Electricity cut of many times during our stay due to the...
Electricity cut of many times during our stay due to the switch tripping. Drain clogged in shower. Carpets not vacuumed but only swept with a broom, which was evident in our continuous sneezing upon entering the room. Geyser switch tripped on checkout day and therefore we could not shower in our room. Rooms need to be better maintained and cleaned.

We had such a lovely time, from the accommodation, the staff, the food and surroundings were great.
The only problem we had was that our shower was leaking in the bathroom, and the whole bathroom was under water. but the staff moved us to another room, the shower did not leak, but all the tiles was loose in this bathroom as well. Just think the bathrooms needs some maintenance

It was my second time visiting this place and still enjoyed...
It was my second time visiting this place and still enjoyed it. The kids enjoyed the activities offered at the property and the adults loved the hiking routes and the flowing river which was very refreshing. We even discovered a nice swimming spot along the river and we had a blast swimming there. The pool area is also very entertaining for the whole family. Breakfast and buffet supper was okay but could be taken a notch higher - on the other hand the pizza's were delicious.

Beautiful accommodation, beautiful scenery, staff helpful...
Beautiful accommodation, beautiful scenery, staff helpful and friendly at Fairways.
However, some of the activities/facilities at the Drakensberg Gardens Hotel were run down, damaged and impractical to use (such as putt-putt and badminton court). Some litter as well - surprisingly.
Lovely walks to be done!

It's a great place to always visit, whether with whole family/kids/partner/friend(s)...it serves the purpose. Outstandingly great service, warm staff from the reception and beyond. Rooms are clean as expected, nice and cool/warm, great scenery from the hotel rooms... breathe taking!
We enjoyed the outdoor adventure activities(zip lining, skyline/rope course) and the Wellness(spa, jacuzzi & sauna).
Please note: rock falls during rainy days.

An absolutely beautiful resort, one of our favorite places to holiday. My hubby loves the camping area.
Hippo Pools and the Water Park is a family favorite.
It is so easy to get to get around the resort. Everything is neat, the gardens are well maintained (Well done to all the Staff, who always have a smile on their faces. From the moment you enter the main gate, to the reception area, to the lady taking care of our unit.. it was such a pleasure to be welcomed with such warmth and lovely smiles)
There are lovely swimming pools with water slides, heated pool, jacuzzi, play area for kids, kids adventure, Golf, Mini golf, archery, hiking, and lots more.

Great communication,
We were upgraded to the big house without an extra charge, even though we booked the chalet.
The house was very luxurious, clean and beautiful (especially the big patio).
The location is awesome, just 10 minutes by car to the Drakensberg Gardens Hiking Trails and to a small store.

It was a really cute little cabin with all that you need. Close to the golf course and a little walk to the hotel for any extras. A little store and diesel if needed.

Unbelievable value. A whole country house for less than the average hotel room. I also had a huge garden with a lake and horses to myself. Amazing. Peaceful.
