The location is outstanding, we had a room with view to the mountains with a balcony and we had a window with view in another direction. The design of the hotel is brilliant, very modern. Parking is in the building, very comfortable. Food and breakfast both very good. Wifi very fast and excellent. You can walk from the hotel to the center of town. One of the bet hotels I have ever visited. And the price is decent, high value for money.

I loved the place. It's so beautiful and clean. Eric is a super host, he ensured that we were fully catered to. Our cottage was extremely neat, clean, functional and tasteful. The garden is incredibly beautiful! The location is perfect and within walking distance of the town centre. The owners were available and gave us lots of tips about places to eat and attractions in the area. They also brought a lovely bottle of wine for my husband to celebrate his 70th birthday. We will definitely stay here again and again.

I noticed after a busy day in the town, that the next day...

I noticed after a busy day in the town, that the next day the town was neat and clean. No litter lying around. The hiking trails in Clarens is well maintained - therefore we do not mind paying the fee for hiking there. Please take into consideration paying for the hiking trails via card. We don't really travel with cash these days. The surrounding area is also great , with a lot of hidden treasures to go and visit.

Patchamhouse….

Patchamhouse….Beautiful rooms with exquisite attention to detail. Breakfast table looked like a pretty picture..and was absolutely yummy. Tim and Johan went out of their way to make us comfortable. We have stayed there before and will definitely stay there again.

It is a very neat little town with quaint houses and buildings everywhere. The views are spectacular and the town is clean. We found the staff were very friendly wherever we went. We stayed there from a Sunday to Thursday and the only issue we had is that quite a few businesses were closed until the Wednesday.

Clarens is a nice place to visit. We enjoyed the galleries there , the food and the drive was out of this world . Nice site seeing and the activities for the family. We loved the shops offering a variety of things from clothes, bags, food,art and etc.

The location is just outside of Clarens and a quick 5 min drive into the town square. The host was very welcoming ,friendly and the property is lovely. Great view of the Maluti mountains and also a quick 15 minute drive into Golden Gate National Park. It's a small self catering cottage on residential property with braai facilities, wifi and a small kitchenette which is perfect if you not looking to make huge meals whilst vacationing.

We loved our stay. The hotel is beautiful and the breakfast in the morning was just fantastic. The staff were friendly and very helpful, we will definitely be back. On the Saturday night the hotel hosted a wine pairing dinner, it was amazing and well worth it. It’s a short walk into the village from the hotel, so you can enjoy Clarens without having to drive around looking for parking on busy weekends.

The staff were all very friendly. The views were beautiful. The food was excellent, I had the lamb chops two days in a row because of how good it was. The hotel is located very well right outside the town of Clarens and close to the Golden Gate park as well. I really enjoyed the stay
