Jack's place is quite spacious and very well equipped. It is very tranquill and overlooks farm and grazing land. The property itself has springboks, elands and zebras - a nice plus. While it is out in the country, it is only about 10 minutes from Bredasdorp and a short drive (under an hour) to the caves in Arniston or to Cape Aghulas. All in all a very nice accomodation for chilling and/or for sightseeing.

Oh my, where do I even start? The hosts were so incredibly friendly and made it feel like we were family. The stay itself was heavenly. Oh my goodness, the bed was so comfortable. Basically impressed with every single thing! Will definitely recommend and go again.

The owners waited for us to arrive and personally gave us the keys to the property inspite of it being past 22hrs. Loved the space upstairs converted into a room with a balcony from where we could visualize a starry sky. Also the lady host was kind enough to drive us to her farm; felt, where the sheep were grazing. The kitchen was well equipped, the property has a fire place. Since its a farm we could walk around.

A lovely little town which we visit every year to take part...

A lovely little town which we visit every year to take part in the Voet of Afrika race. It could really do with some nice restaurants though... On a Saturday night only 1 restaurant open (former Flames grill) and was empty!

This was my 1st visit to Bredasdorp and because I was nervous about travelling with my dog, I didn't spend much time in the town itself. Of what I did see, I was impressed as it's well developed with all amenities.

The town is very clean and has all the major retailers there...

The town is very clean and has all the major retailers there and a few restaurants. Many of the houses are beautifully maintained with lovely gardens. The Shipwreck Museum is excellent and well worth the low entrance fee.

Beautiful and tranquil setting. So much space!! A zebra was grazing just outside the cottage :-) Fun canoeing in the Karg River nearby. Very accommodating and friendly host Cecilia. We loved it!
