The setting and facilities are fabulous. Hiking trails for all levels of fitness are available. Service is at exactly at the right level - attentive but not intrusive. Special mention for Lawrence who went above and beyond to locate a place where we could purchase steering fluid for our car. The room was excellent while the heating was well designed. All meals were of exceptional quality. Would definitely like to return.

The cottage is wonderful, clean, very weel kept and it has everything one needs for a pleasant stay, you can also buy wood for the brai there. The owner is very kind and gives you all the info to get to the place. What is so special is the view from the property though. The Drakemberg in front of you during one of those mesmerizing South African sunsets is something you will never forget. I will be back for sure to suck that magical atmosphere in again

The place is so lovely - we loved it ! It was hard to leave the place because the staff was so nice ! We did beautiful hike in the drakensberg, enjoyed very very good food in the lodge, saw beautiful sunset from the lodge ! Thank you Mthoko and the team for the perfect time at Sasi.

The food was delicious every morning and every night. We were always excited for dessert! Wilson was also a highlight of our trip- he greeted us, guarded our porch, escorted us to breakfast, and took us on a lovely walk where we picked up some neighbouring dogs along the way. The cat that stayed at our cabin was very cuddly and friendly, too.

Unbelievably stunning location, views across the unspoilt bush landscape from rooms and terraces are unbeatable.
