My stay at the Elon Coffee Farm in Vietnam was an absolutely amazing experience. Right from the moment I arrived, the family of the owners welcomed me with such warmth that I felt at home from the very first moment. Not only did I learn a lot of interesting information about coffee cultivation and got to taste a wide range of excellent coffee beans, but I also got to know their daily life and their family and friends. I loved the fact that we didn't stick to a strict itinerary but rather did what interested me. During my stay, their barista friend joined us, which was very interesting because I learned a lot about different coffee flavors. Additionally, I loved that they actually integrated me into their daily life. I had the opportunity to enjoy great meals with the family and try some fruit that I had never tasted before. The whole stay was absolutely perfect and gave me valuable insights into Vietnamese culture. It was definitely one of the best experiences I had during my travels in Vietnam."

Staying at Midori Coffee Farm was like staying at a tranquil simple retreat. I felt recharged after the stay. I enjoyed practicing yoga and meditation on the terrace at sunrise. (Tip: take the mat from cafe the night before) I love my afternoon walks with the friendly dogs. They brought me to their walking trail in the pine forest. Chatting and sharing stories/experiences over dinner with Huy and his assistant was enjoyable. It’s an easy 40mins by local bus from Hoa Binh Theatre to Me Ling Coffee where Huy picked me up on the motorcycle. (The red bus is better than the green one. The green bus charged me 30VN instead of 20.) The room I stayed in shared the same balcony with the adjacent room. I was lucky to have the space to myself for first night. The couple who arrived after was quiet, respected privacy and conscious about sharing the balcony. Having done 3 coffee tours in various countries previously, Huy’s tour is the best. I learnt a lot about organic farming, differences between beans/varieties, washing methods, drying, roasting and appreciation for organic beans. Highly recommended it.

​Our stay at this family-run hostel was absolutely delightful and exceeded all expectations—it truly is a hidden gem offering incredible value for money. ​ ​The location is perfect for those seeking both convenience and quiet. It's strategically tucked away in a quiet alley, ensuring a full night of peaceful sleep with no noise from the street. Despite its secluded feel, accessibility is excellent: you're just moments away from a big supermarket and have easy access to local transportation. Best of all, the beautiful lake and nature surrounding the area are right there for peaceful morning walks and nature escapes. ​ ​The facilities offered here elevate the stay significantly. The value is outstanding, largely due to the inclusion of a delicious free breakfast and constant access to free, purified drinking water. These thoughtful touches saved us time and money daily. The common areas and rooms were also spotlessly clean and well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable and hassle-free stay. ​What truly sets this place apart is the family atmosphere. It is genuinely family-run, and the owners are so warm and welcoming. Their cute 5-year-old daughter adds a lovely touch of home life; she’s sweet and playful but completely non-intrusive. ​If you are looking for a place that combines tranquility, amazing convenience, and warm hospitality, look no further. Highly, highly recommended!

The couple who own the hotel are such nice and friendly people. Always welcoming me with a smile and even offered me 2 additional bottles of water as I returned back one day which was an incredibly nice gesture. Location was great, not too far from the central area, it was quiet and hidden in a perfect little road. The price was excellent, would recommend to anyone.

It was clean, the facilities were great and the views were nice too. Not too far from the bus station for a solo traveller. The staff are also really friendly and good for recommendations for things like cloud hunting etc

The male staff member was extremely friendly and helpful, beautiful location, the room is really good and the WiFi is strong if you need to work. Overall I had a great stay and will definitely come back next time I am in Da Lat! Thank you!

When you head towards the hotel for the first time, you think: what a weird location I've chosen - the streets are not that nice, not much good cafes around etc. Then you come into the hotel and think it is a different reality, like an oasis in the desert 😄 The territory is neatly looked after, very clean, green and very pleasant to the eye. The gardener is always on duty. The bellboy meets you at the gates with no exceptions. The reception personnel is kind and helpful. The room that was provided to us at first was a bit noisy because of the pump, but the administration quickly changed the room for us. So it was nice and comfortable. I pay much attention to the bed as I get older 😄 so here my sleep was very calm and comfortable. The breakfast is very good, everything is exceptionally fresh, and unlike in many Vietnamese hotels, there's choice of both - Vietnamese and European varieties of food. It is a buffet, but the eggs are cooked personally for the guest whichever way you want them. Nice instrumental music played in the lobby, which makes sitting by the windows pretty romantic.
