SpainOutstanding option to stay in Moynaq. The apartment is suitable even for a long stay, with very comfortable beds and shower, perfect Wifi and fully operative kitchen. If you want to visit the Aral Sea ship cemetery, which was my goal, the location is also great, just 10 min walking on foot. In addition, communication with the owner was easy and possible at all times. I even had trouble getting transportation to Moynaq, and the owner readily found me a taxi, and at a good price.

it's a fascinating experience to witness what's left after such huge transformation. A reminder to us humans of the importance of water and nature. Unfortunately in this case, humans were not careful enough. Despite that, one can find hope seeing life and community finding their own ways to thrive.
