Whittier is between two great places in the mountains.
Whittier is between two great places in the mountains. The famous Cherokee with its casino is 10 minutes in one direction! In the other direction is a town that holds my heart Bryson City. Both have great family fun activities. Whittier itself has a quiet atmosphere for those who want to visit near by towns and come home to a quiet place. Wanted an overnight stay so we could go to the casino.
Wanted an overnight stay so we could go to the casino. This location provided exactly what we needed AND it's pet friendly which helped make the final decision. It provides a large "doggie" area to walk the pets. Lots of fast food restaurants directly across the street....most convenient. Unfortunately, most of them did not provide dine in due to pandemic restrictions but the drive thru's were open.Guest review byDorothyUnited States
