Dirty and poorly maintained hotel. Stay somewhere else. We were visiting family nearby. I'm sure the city of West Bend has nautre areas and other things to do, just stay away from the hotel we booked.

West Bend has quaint downtown area with a beautifully restored theater. Bars and restaurants and specialty shops. The Hampton Inn was perfectly located for just a couple minute drive to the venue and downtown.

A picturesque city that seems to want to create a particular type of Utopia. There was not a single minority to be seen. In general, customer service at big box stores were fine. F & B type places -- not so much. I never dined in the same place twice. Average is the word that comes to mind.

The location (I had an event at Kettle Morraine) was great. It was a quick 20 minute drive to my event and there were tins of food and convenience options right next to the hotel. There was a clean pool and hot tub. The continental breakfast was pretty good. The staff was very friendly.

Breakfast was ok for the value of the hotel. There was unexpected hot food, but I’m not sure how safe the food was given that the breakfast area wasn’t very clean or maintained.
