Walker is a great place to stay if you want to be near the intersection of the two main bicycle paths, The Paul Bunyan State Trail and the Heartland Trail. All of the small towns within cycling and or short drives is fantastic. Especially when all of the places in the other popular small towns are booked, no vacancies. The city beach is very nice and some main street shops and eateries are within walking distance.

The location was perfect for access to the bike trail system and convenient to downtown for shopping, etc. The staff was very accommodating in allowing us to put our expensive e-bike in our room and allowed us to check in a little earlier so we could unpack before we went biking. Air conditioning system was comfortable with no rattling fans or excess noise. The lobby has a pleasant sitting area.

The lobby area was cozy , tasteful, and clean! The trail mix snack was yummy! The breakfast was good! I especially liked the lady working the breakfast area.. very nice and always busy!!! I like the ducky !!! Great idea!!

Breakfast was wonderful, location beautiful view of lake. Staff very friendly. The Inn was very clean. Close to the casino and downtown Walker. Will definitely be staying again next time we travel.
