Clean, very quiet, super walkable location with lots of restaurants nearby. There is a bit of traffic noise but nothing too bad. I was also pleasantly surprised at how big the room is, with an extra sitting area and additional tv & desk.

I absolutely loved everything! The room was amazing and very spacious! I use a wheelchair and absolutely loved everything the bathroom is very clean and spacious and has a seat to shower in. Will definitely be coming back next time I come to Visalia with my family ☺️

I loved that there was no rug in my room. Hotel rugs always seem kind of gross to me. Also loved the couch and little table over the couch. Great for working on my computer.

    For us this was a great place to stay for our Sequoia...

    For us this was a great place to stay for our Sequoia National Park visit. It is about an hour from the park. However, I found that hotels closer to the park are vastly more expensive with lower cleanliness ratings. This hotel was 1/3 the price. Visalia has restaurants, pubs,, etc. for all price points and the downtown is charming, historic and architecturally significant. I was happy with the choice of a Visalia "home" for our weekend park visit.

    Visalia had a lot of quaint shopping and eating...

    Visalia had a lot of quaint shopping and eating establishments which we visited. Parking was a big issue as had to park and walk some distance and my wife and I are both handicapped with bad hips/legs. Could use more Handicap parking spots in close proximity to major venues.

    Visalia is a more affordable place to stay for visiting...

    Visalia is a more affordable place to stay for visiting Sequoia National park . Its about a hour away , but about 1/2 the price of a nights stay closer to the park. I consider downtown Visalia a very safe , and walkable area for many restaurants.

    what a modern clean city, easy to get around, had all the big name shopping malls, pleasant and relaxed, i could have easily stayed longer, stayed there so we could do a day trip to Sequoia national Park, very easy drive to get there, i would go back in a heartbeat

    Very nice city center.

    Very nice city center. Main Street is great-vibrant, safe, plenty of restaurants. They have loudspeakers placed along the street and music plays along the street, which gives a great vibe. Certain areas and streets around the outer ring of downtown are loud at night from street races and some shady activities are going on at night.

    Visalia has lots of shopping and is easy to get around town...

    Visalia has lots of shopping and is easy to get around town and up to the attractions outside of town including Three Rivers Restaurant! We also always eat at Amigo's Mexican Restaurant and Denny's of course. Great Prices and great food and service. We spend most of the time with family when we come to visit. We check out all the Antique Shops which are one of our favorite things to do. We love the visits and always look forward to coming back and staying at Lamp Liter Inn.

    I stayed just one night, and it was exactly what I needed. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and quiet — perfect for a good night’s sleep! It’s also a great location if you're planning to visit Sequoia National Park — the drive takes less than an hour.
