    Tropic is an awesome safe and mellow little town that serves as an ideal base for visiting the park. Good facilities, to include, coffee shop, gas station with store, diner, restaurants and lodgings. If we stayed longer we definitely would have checked out some of the local attractions we saw advertised such as rodeo and horse rides.

    Quiet, friendly, family oriented town.

    Quiet, friendly, family oriented town. I felt safe walking around the entire town any time of day or night. Prices were a little steep in all the stores and eateries as you would expect from a town so close to tourist attractions.

    Tropic is a great home base from which to explore Bryce...

    Tropic is a great home base from which to explore Bryce Canyon, as it's so close by but quiet. The Pizza Place, in town, is really solid pizza and beer and good service. Aside from that, though, it's slim pickings food-wise: I recommend bringing your own and staying someplace where you can self cater as much as possible.

    Tropic did the job we needed for self caterers. Small general store, a choice of several restaurants (nothing special but we weren'tlooking for that) an excellent gas station/store. It's a remote area but we didnt feel we needed to go anywhere elase for what we needed

    This small town is very convenient to Bryce Canyon.

    This small town is very convenient to Bryce Canyon. There are enough local establishments to supplement your visits to the local National Parks and other area attractions. The vibe is small town campground and had a very relaxing feel. We enjoyed our stay and will likely stay here again when we return.

    Very small town, nothing much here at all - the big draw is...

    Very small town, nothing much here at all - the big draw is Bryce Canyon Nat'l Park, which is a short drive away. We were only here three days to visit the park, so it wasn't that bad. The price of the room was the big draw; we could have stayed closer to the park but at twice the price. The idea of our own cabin was appealing. Three or four little restaurants in town. The place is clean and quiet and everyone we ran into was pleasant. Bring a book or iPad or something for your evenings.

    - Really good breakfast - stands out from the typical American hotel breakfast. Fresh, good quality, includes fresh fruits, much recommended! - The B&B has soul - friendly, nice place, feels like home away from home - You can use the common areas like the kitchen - this is a great opportunity to cook your own dinner - Big and comfortable bed - Heating available in the room - comes handy on a cold evening

    Simple, straightforward. Breakfast was simple but filled us up for the day! Yoghurt, oatmeal, cereal and bagels! The highlight of Tropic was Showdowns Restaurant down the road, go for dinner, and grab the $12 smores dessert for the campfire which the put on every night

    Great location, both in relation to Bryce Cyn NP and in the town of Tropic. Property was wonderful, with lots of trees, park-like areas, and nice pool. On-site restaurant was good, as well.
