I definitely would recommend staying here plus it was the best value in town.

So much to see. I love all of the historic buildings!
So much to see. I love all of the historic buildings! The Trinidad History Museum was an interesting place to spend lots of time.
For restaurants I'd recommend Las Animas Grill. The food was excellent and the place is decorated with so many historic photos. Also Perkatory serves great coffee in a relaxing, friendly atmosphere.
Just walking around, there are many fun shops to explore.
I want to go back to Trinidad soon...

Trinidad has a lot of nice shops and beautiful old stone and brick and Victorian buildings! Many of the streets are paved with red bricks. We had a delicious lunch at The Cafe on Main St. and also a great dinner at Las Animas Bar & Grill! The owner spent a lot of time (at closing) talking with us about the music scene in town. Really nice!

I tried to book the room thru the site I was FORCED on by the computer. The site booked me for the next night, which the ckeckin person finally found. I was charged for the wrong night ans she couldn't delete it cause of the fugged up system of the computer site.I WAS CHARGED FOR 2 NIGHTS. NOT THE FAULT OF SUPER 8 I KNOW. WILL PROBABLY NEVER USE THE COMPUTER SITES AGAIN. I have stayed at super 8 since then.

When given a chance come to Trinidad lake State Park. Beautiful lake, nice camping areas, and often you'll be the only one there.
Trinidad is a very interesting town with nice people and you can always find something to do.

Trinadad was perfect for staying in a storm as the pass had...
Trinadad was perfect for staying in a storm as the pass had been closed to get to the NM border. We were located by a Walmart and restaurants which was very convenient. The views were beautiful, and the roads were taken care of almost immediately!

Cozy hotel by Interstate 25. Good location for overnight stay when on transit. Nice facilities, clean spacious rooms, comfy beds. Very helpful staff. Private free parking. Good value for money. We really enjoyed the stay.
Unaccustomed to have breakfast without possibility to choose and pick the food from tray by your own. As we were not so familiar with the food and naming in US, we just made a blind random choice. It felt strange that even a slice of bread had to be asked, but in overall the food was really ok and tasty.

Lovely clean hotel, right in the centre of town, very helpful and pleasant staff member. Soo much nicer than staying in hotel chains. And a free drink for guests in the bar downstairs!
