Beautiful location right on the beach. I would like to go back in August to enjoy the water. It looks like you could go out 100 yards and only be waist deep. Plenty of seating and the area was cleaned and groomed daily.

I recently had a wonderful stay at this hotel and I can't recommend it enough! The cleanliness of the entire hotel was truly impressive. What stood out the most was the incredibly helpful staff – they were always ready with a smile and eager to assist with anything I needed. The spa area was a fantastic! After a long day, the comfortable beds ensured a great night's sleep. And the view from my terrace was simply breathtaking, overlooking the beautiful lake. It was the perfect spot to unwind. I would definitely choose to stay here again!"

    So much to explore!

    So much to explore! We visited the lighthouses and sleeping bear dunes. Tried to explore the commons shopping area, but couldn't seem to get there. Could have used a better map. Hopefully we can check it out next time. Lots of road construction made it a challenge to navigate an unfamiliar city. Views were stunning along the bay. We hope to visit again perhaps next spring. Parking was definitely an issue. We passed on exploring some shops and restaurants because parking couldn't be found.

    Had the weather cooperated, we would have enjoyed our trip much more. Our main goal was to bury my husband's ashes with his parents and other family members. However, we looked forward to going to the beach, perhaps taking a boat tour, riding jet skis, and parasailing. We needed more time to enjoy our visit. We had to extend our stay for another two days due to weather conditions in Washington, D.C., and our flights were being cancelled. However, there were no rental cars available. We were stuck in the hotel with only two restaurants within walking distance, the bridge to the beach was closed, and it was too far for me to walk to the next intersection where we could have crossed. For our next trip to Traverse City, we will plan to take more time off to enjoy it, and we will rent a house for one week. We will also check the weather as best we can. It is beautiful there.

    I loved Traverse City!

    I loved Traverse City! The people are really friendly and welcoming to tourists. Store staff are nice and approachable, making it easy to browse around. Downtown is charming, with plenty of bars, shops, great restaurants, and lovely spots for dinner and desserts. The city is close to the wineries, which are a must-visit if you’re in the area. We also enjoyed visiting the lighthouse. One thing to note: it can be challenging to get a ride on Uber or Lyft late at night, especially around 2 AM when bars and clubs are closing.

    Charming town!

    Charming town! beautiful beaches incredible 4th of July Fireworks show over the water! Overall loved the Cherry Festival Parade but wanted to see more marching bands but our favorite was the Steel Drums Band on a double-decker bus!!! So fun!

    We visited Traverse City in 2018 and really enjoyed it, so...

    We visited Traverse City in 2018 and really enjoyed it, so we decided to spend a few days there again this June. It was just too busy; the traffic is very heavy and of course there is road construction. Many new big buildings are being built which spoils the charm of the waterfront. We will not return unfortunately. Just too hard to get around and park. Also, very expensive to dine out, was shocked to pay 35 to 40 for a simple lunch. It's like what has happened to all the charming west coast cities in Florida, over building.

    We arrived to the hotel excited for our stay. We had a jacuzzi in the room which was filthy. I went to desk to see about changing rooms but internet was down and we were told there was nothing they could do. It was very disappointing and we left looking for another hotel. We don’t get the opportunity to travel much so it was very upsetting
