We only stayed in Thibodaux because it was well located for...
We only stayed in Thibodaux because it was well located for our trip exploring the swamp areas south of New Orleans. Also, photographs of the old town looked interesting, although it turned out to be disappointing as nothing was open in the early evening.

Although very reasonably priced (65 $ for a huge room with two king size beds), the Carmel Inn has all the avantages of a luxury hotel.

The hotel was over booked and so when I got they're I didn't have a room. Booking.com was not up to date with what the hotel had in house. Y'all need to figure that out with them!

A perfectly functional hotel a couple of miles from downtown. The staff were most helpful, my room was fine and breakfast (a simple but adequate buffet) did the job well.
