United StatesThe property was clean, the rooms were clean. The staff was nice. Felt the pricing was a lil high based on there isn’t much around the area( to my knowledge) except for an outlet mall and truck stops, but I’m cheap and it may have been higher because of the eclipse.

United StatesRoom was super clean, the bed was ultra comfy. The wifi is strong enough to support multi-player gaming and the staff are super friendly and helpful, especially Terri at the front desk. She recommended a few good places to eat in the area like Texas Roadhouse and Crumbl and she also allowed me to get extra towels and toilet paper because I kept the do not disturb sign on my door for 2 days. It was an all around wonderful experience. Even the location was perfect, just off the state highway but without the highway noise.

I'm not a complainer and love staying at Hamptons, but the Hampton in Sunbury, OH needs improvement. The location was fine for the trip we were going on but the breakfast was cold and the juice was warm!!! Our neighbors next to us were rude and loud at 6:00 a.m. slamming doors, yelling and running in the halls. When I notified the front desk all they said was we can't control who you get put next to!!!! hmmmmm! I will not stay at the Sunbury Hampton again. The location was close to the Cardinal shooting center, but the hotel was not up to the standards of a IHG hotel. The room had paint pealing in the bathroom, the bathroom door was coming off the hinge and wouldn’t close, the mattress had a giant dip on one side. The floors in the room didn’t appear vacuumed nor in the elevator. Breakfast had options but no salt or pepper available. Oats and yogurt were good, cinnamon rolls were yummy with real butter…..always a plus for me! I wish I would have tried the pancake maker! I certainly liked it it was away from everything and near the state park :-). I came to a conference at North gate church and it was fabulous! Only had beagles with sesame seeds on it. No induvial milk cartons most places have a little carton of milk. No fruit. I would have been better off getting breakfast at Bob Evans or McDonalds. I understand the hotel was to keep the cost minimal, but the breakfast is a joke. Most hotel will over eggs, sausage or bacon, waffles and fruits and yogurt.
