This was our base to explore the two local national parks.

This was our base to explore the two local national parks. It was centrally located to both and made it easy to access both over three days stay in this area. It's well worth staying here, but you do need access to your own transport. The pizza restaurant in the village was great, good value and the pizza was good too. There is a small supermarket and a petrol station too. There is very limited mobile (cell phone) signal throughout the are. Best to make sure your have your route map downloaded, to guide you through the service black spots

The rooms was extremely spacious and had lots of nice extra touches: water in the room, a coffeemaker, books about the nearby national parks etc. There were some cute farm animals in the property, such as goats, turkeys and geese, and even emus! We didn’t get to use it, but there was also a pool and grill for guests to use. Inna and Jacob were great hosts and very friendly.

We had such a lovely stay and so much more fun than a big hotel. The hosts are very friendly and make you feel at home. We loved our conservations with them. The place is in a quiet environment and nearby Kings canyon national park and Sequoia national park. We would definitely stay here again.

The location was great. Very rustic and remote, if that’s what you are looking for. The room was clean and appropriate to the ranch location. Air conditioner worked well, but is loud. Beds are comfortable. Fridge and microwave were helpful since there is very limited food service nearby.

A complete surprise. It was magical. The rooms were great, the breakfast superb and the whole venue very special. If your trip consists of mindless hotels/ motels, I can only recommend Rustic Rooms as a complete change. Your stay will become a memorable part of your holiday.
