South boston is up and coming, lots of new growth in the...
South boston is up and coming, lots of new growth in the area. New food chains and grocery stores have moved in. The high school was being rebuilt. This place is an hour from Richmond and thirty minutes from the new casino.

The area has some pretty good architecture and nature trails...
The area has some pretty good architecture and nature trails. I was there for a international race event which was quite good. I wouldn't recommend staying too long as there isn't much to see and good food is hard to come by. I do recommend checking out Cotton at Riverside Mill s its the best food with in 2hours of South Boston

The property is beautiful, breakfast was yummy and different everyday and the conversation at the table was interesting and enjoyable. The dogs are friendly and well behaved and an added bonus. Pickett made us feel welcome. The property is well maintained, had plenty of amenities to include car charging, walking trails and is full of history. We really loved waking up in the country atmosphere. So much nicer than your standard hotel.

Your property was a DUMP. That is why I checked out early. I refused to stay in this DUMP. And they had the audacity to charge me for both nights. Rip off. A dunno filthy hotel. Never stay at this facility.

Loved breakfast, plenty to choose from. Nice clean indoor pool. A little chilly getting out, though. We had great time. We chose this hotel for Indoor pool!
