Great Mtn.
Great Mtn. First time there, stayed at the Corduroy Inn easy to park vehicle and access to whole mtn, never had to move vehicle, skied right onto slopes, lots of good food options, loved the boathouse and all the snack shacks on the slopes. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather and the views were phenomenal. We had one nice hike in the area. However, in general, the area does not cater much to hikers. They seem to focus a lot more on mountain biking. Which I find unfortunate since the area is so beautiful and hiking possibilities could be expanded. We also had a Visit with the nearby town of Cass to see and experienced the beautiful historical railroad. Weird weather made snowmaking unavailable. Snow was slushy and non-existent on some cutoffs. I realize there is nothing you can do about the weather. The reason for the low marks was the lodging we booked. Rooms were not clean and there was no resemblance of the actual rooms to the site pictures.Guest review byStephen - 8.0

Snowshoe is my favorite ski resort on the east side of the lower US. It is bigger that most, higher altitude, has decent night skiing and if you get there after a bunch of snow, it is really fun.
