The location is perfect for a nice getaway! We have visited LA during weekdays and it was ideal, because of the promixity of the city's most highlights. It was just a few minutes away from the highway connecting Santa Monica or Venice Beach. Still a nice area, calm with some restaurants nearby.

Close to universal studios. Everything was super cool. The house is spacious and well equipped. The mattresses and pillows were OMG-amazing! The host was very helpful, all our needs were sorted in no time. The pool is amazing and quite warm. It can be heated up for a one-time fee (50USD).

All was Superb, Politely Declined Service, the room was spotless All was confortable, was happy down the end, nice and quiet Will definately book room 122 again On my return I will install an hanging close rack, at my sole cost and expence. From the moment I arrived I felt something you can’t buy or plan:authenticity,atmosphere and history.I was met not with formality but with grace.Ana from the front desk stood out. My Suite was filled with character! It simply exist in its rare category-where soul, service and subtlety meets.Every member of the staff was was utterly charming,attentive and effortlessly elegant. I will return as soon as possible. Two days were not enough. Thank you

Customer service, the best, all guys are so friendly, I remember Andy and the guy with the french accent and couple more which i dont remember now. Also pool bar service was fantastic, overall: the only place where i felt like home.

    I fell in love with Sherman Oaks.

    I fell in love with Sherman Oaks. This was our first stay as we have family close by living in Encino. There are so many restaurants, shopping and even grocery stores that are walking distance (to where we stayed). It is also a short drive to many hiking trails. I really liked the vibe and probably will stay in Sherman Oaks during our next trip

    Newly refurbished motel.

    Newly refurbished motel. Room was clean and had good linens. The decor was 60s inspired which complimented the era of the drive motel era which it is. I liked the different colored room entry doors because it made it easier to find room and was cheerful look. The location was good access to freeway. The breakfast room had a nice atmosphere, clean and offered options such as coffee, tea, pastries.

    Sherman Oaks is in the San Fernando Valley, where I grew up & we were there visiting family. The Courtyard Marriott is located on the "main drag", Ventura Blvd & close to the 101 & 405 freeways for easy access.

    I’ve always loved Sherman Oaks.

    I’ve always loved Sherman Oaks. It has everything and everything Los Angeles has to offer at a good distance. The Hills are close by, all the freeways and lots of shopping and good eatery. Getting around Sherman Oaks is very easy. Either by foot or car, Ventura Blvd has a lot to offer.

    We liked this hotel very much. The complimentary parking included was great and looked safe. The front desk has good amenities, coffee brewer, water filter (!), cups and napkins. The business center room was great, I was able to connect for my online work meeting seamlessly. The breakfast is not included, but there's a great Denny's location right next door, where you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner. It's open 24/7 I think.

    Hotel is super clean. Only place in a two weeks trip where they cleaned the rooms all days we were in (and without asking). Hotel is well located right next to highway 405 so it gives easy acces to Universal Studios and Gety museum. Not too far from Hollywood or the beach in Santa Monica or Malibu either.

    The Sojourn is a conveniently located, clean and comfortable hotel with all amenities, swimming pool and a lovely 70s/80s feel. The staff was very helpful and let us store our luggage on the last day after check-in while we went out sightseeing until very late.
