The location and views. The only vibe makes you instantly relax. Loved it Spacious room, beautiful views from your bed and you are right on the sea from your patio. The welcome drink was a great touch. Yummy homemade breakfast and great amenities in the room. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Beautiful to walk the path in front of the Inn and watch the surf surge onto the rocks. Spectacular on our windy day. Our room looked to have been completely and newly renovated. Would stay there again. Drift Inn Greek pizza recommended by us.

We have stayed a few times now at Driftwood Shores. Professional staff, very friendly and helpful. Every room has been very clean and attention to detail. The location cannot be beat. We use to stay closer to downtown Florence. But Driftwood Shores Resort is now our place to stay when we visit Florence.

    We were unable to stay in the Sea Mist Cottage.

    We were unable to stay in the Sea Mist Cottage. Due to a severe winter storm, there was no electric power in the location and it was uninhabitable as a result. We wish to emphasize that this situation was beyond the control of either the owners or VACASA. Further, we wish to compliment and thank VACASA support for immediately taking action to find us alternative accommodation when we contacted them about this problem. As a result of their prompt action an extremely difficult situation was converted into an adventure! We actually stayed in another VACASA location, the Aqua Vista Cottage in Yachats. The property was very nice and comfortable as well as being located within the village of Yachats itself. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to others. Our only caveat would be that the kitchen, which is remarkably well equipped, is open to the living room so special care needs to be taken to avoid any cooking which produces odors/smoke, particularly as there is no exhaust hood over the stove.
