If you are wanting to spend all your time in Portland, I'd rethink this. There isn't much in the way of eating (except at the hotel), so you have to plan accordingly. however, if you want a view and not stay in the city, then it is a great pick. We arrived at the hotel late at night.
We arrived at the hotel late at night. Parking was convenient, and the front desk staff was helpful, though not particularly friendly at check-in. I appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel, but it was frustrating that our two rooms—booked under the same reservation—ended up on different floors. Initially, we were given keys to two rooms next to each other on the same floor. However, one of the room keys didn’t work, so we had to return to the front desk. That’s when we were told that the second room was actually on a different floor. This meant hauling all our belongings back to the elevator and starting over, which was inconvenient after a long day of travel. The bathroom design in the room was also a bit uncomfortable—the sliding frosted glass door didn’t fully close, leaving gaps on the sides that compromised privacy. We only stayed for one night and left early in the morning. During check-out, the front desk staff was much friendlier and took the time to ask how our stay was, which we appreciated.Guest review byRi RiUnited States - 8.0

Have stayed in Scarborough before and it was very nice. We have family in the area and we wanted to find a place to bed down and relax. It was a nice home. Scarborough is a beautiful, quaint town in Maine right in the coast. You can get lobsters to cook or buy them already steamed. Close to Old Orchard Beach yet far enough away to be away from all the chaos. Loved it there. Would definitely go back.Guest review byDeniseUnited States - 4.0

the room was not a promised the air conditioning was either poor or not working we had to call from toilet paper, but it was delivered the tub did not drain, we called but it was not fixed the restaurant did not attend to us or provide a menu for 30 minutes, then told us after we ate it was not included, although I thought it was based on the website.Guest review bykjotisUnited States - 8.0
We were in Scarborough due to it's proximity to Falmouth.
We were in Scarborough due to it's proximity to Falmouth. I will say it is really conveniently located, and there are a multitude of great places to eat and drink.
