Search hotels in Salem, IL

Bef bugs were horrible. It was late when we came n we had driven 13 hrs. So we did not ask for another room n did not want to carry all our things to another room. Besides when in one room most likely be another. We have stayed in many of these hotels n never ever had any type of bug. We slept with sheets over our heads, but still had bites on our backs. I’m 78 yrs old n had never seen a bedbug, I had to look it up on the internet to see what it was. I killed at least 15!! To say the least, it was the worst nite ever!!

We didn't stay, the hotel was hot, smelled weird and had no elevator. When we got to our room they smelled musty and there were bugs amongst other issues. I have stayed in some cheap motels, but I got my money back and stayed somewhere else. I would not stay here with my child.

It was a little difficult to find the hotel since we were coming from Centralia and our GPS was no help. Also the phone number on our reservation was someone's personal cell phone. They did graciously call us back with directions.

Quiet, clean and basic hotel. No bells and whistles, but better than two stars. Pool was open and reasonably maintained. Breakfast was better than some we have experienced.

This hotel was terrible.
