We arrived in the evening and only spent the night.
We arrived in the evening and only spent the night. We were headed south to Winona and stayed in that area a couple of days. We came back to the Minneapolis area for a wedding. I throught Saint Paul would be a fun place to spend some time in but I can't give a review on any of the local establishments or any of its attractions. It was fun seeing the Fitzgerald Theatre where Garrison Keeler recorded his radio broadcasts with a live audience.Guest review byDebraUnited States - 10.0
Easy to get around the city.
Easy to get around the city. Streets are well signed and traffic did not seem to be too congested. We visited the St. Paul Grill at the St. Paul hotel and were thoroughly impressed with the quality of food and service. The hotel is an historic building with the charm of the early 20th century hotels. Excellent ambience for a world class meal. We really enjoyed making a walking tour around the historic downtown buildings. We also went up to Dayton's Bluff to view the city and park area. The historic homes around that area are really fun to see as well. We also spent a lot of time walking around Union Station. Such an amazing landmark. We ate breakfast at The Buttered Tin.
