I was pleasantly shocked at the size of our room, actually it was equivalent of a small one-bedroom apartment. The rental was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully decorated and well-stocked. The property is located a couple blocks off the main drive, in a quiet neighborhood. However, it is minutes from the main sites, restaurants, and stores. For the price this room is one of the best values I've ever rented, at least within the U.S.

the lady who ran it was amazing, friendly and helpful, had a water pressure issue and she was fixing it before we went to let her know, within a few minutes pressure was back to normal, very pro-active, which is rare. room was a good size, comfortable and plenty of parking directly outside the room. good location, with pool aswell.

    Came for the UFO Festival and it seemed less than previous...

    Came for the UFO Festival and it seemed less than previous visits. Not many speakers at UFO Museum and activities were scheduled strange. Drone show on July 3rd then no fireworks on the July 4th. Most activity was on Saturday July 5th (pet costume, people costume, parade) and nothing on Sunday June 6th so left a day early. You can only go through the stores and vendors so many times especially in near 100-degree temperatures. People costume event held at noon with very little shade.

    There are so many little tourist attractions to draw your attention and things to do around the community we've already stated we will come back and stay longer to explore more of them. Downtown is easily walkable with lots of little novelty shops and little businesses perfect to take your kids into

    Had been looking forward to Roswell for a long time and it...

    Had been looking forward to Roswell for a long time and it was not what I expected. Sadly, I was disappointed. All of the attractions,museums, closed really early, 5:00 PM. We went to the Roswell Museum accidentally, looking for the UFO museum, but was a happy accident. There is so much history in Roswell, we were especially interested in the developments of rockets and tech. Atlas Obscura advertised the McDonalds that is shaped like UFO and lights up. Restaurant was not lit up and it was disappointing. Was all of the alien/UFO stuff taken back by the city? Feels like it. If I knew this would have not stayed the night in town, just a stop for a meal.

    Went for UFO festival and even though it's gone downhill a little since the city took over, it was still a good time. Nice city with everything you need. It can get hot in July. Last day was 107. Seems like it would be a comfortable city to live in.

    Hotel is old and worn with second level (not sure if elevator available). Also, it is located close intersection (light) and many of the vehicles using that street had limited/no mufflers. And they liked to take off fast (noise) when the light changed (day and night). Pool was closed (but we found we could sit in pool area - that was nice). Breakfast was ok, nothing special/adequate. Parking lot seemed to be packed every morning. Next visit will spend a little more $ for room and location. Steakhouse across street (there were 2). Steaks and bottle of wine just over $100.

    Our favorite places were Legoland, The Roswell UFO museum & shopping. Roswell was clean. Gary at the Roswell Chamber of Commerce was very informative. The Roswell Visitor Center was fun. Getting around Roswell we had no problems. Parking was free & right where you needed to be in town with all the attractions.

We arrived in Roswell after a long journey and first checked into Motel 6, which we had to leave immediately due to its terrible condition. The girl checked us in and truly made us feel welcome! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Everything was perfect—very clean! :)
